QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
(Q;} You look expensive. Are you? What do you offer?
{A:} Why thank you! First off - I am not expensive. I work hard on my skill so I guess that means I look expensive. I study photography, light, composition and posing daily to bring you the most beautiful photograph of you - you have ever seen of yourself. I pride myself in my service and my quality of work. I have several packages that will be right for you. If you love my work and would love to be photographed by me - talk to me. I am sure I have a package that is perfect for you. My phone number is 864.414.6957. You can text or call. My email is: lisaadventphotography@gmail.com
{Q:} Do you do freelance work? Do you photograph for businesses? Do you photograph marketing materiel?
{A:} It's just me. I love to photograph for businesses. In fact I am working with a few businesses in the area. My favorite is portraiture but, since my style is a magazine style photography I can help take your marketing to another level. I photograph: clothing, real estate, food, marketing materiel for a calligrapher, floral, the list goes on. . . I love it all. If you have a vision and a dream and need photographs - together we will make it happen. I want to help you win and see your dreams come true. I believe "there is room for us all to do well." I will be a huge cheerleader to you.
{Q:} Do you have a studio? Do I have to have my portrait session done in your studio? Where will my session be? Do you find locations or do I? How many locations will be included? Do I have to pay for locations that charge a fee?
{A:} Yes, I have a studio located in my home. 20 Prince Williams Ct. Simpsonville, S.C. 29681. All makeup and hair sessions are done at my studio. If hair and makeup are not booked I will meet you on-location. No, you do not have to have your session in my studio. We will talk about what it is you want and do our best to make that happen. Once we have a location and address I will send that to you three days before your shoot. Even though I am happy to checkout your location, I can take the pressure off of you and find locations for your session. Although locations are important, lighting is essential for beautiful portraits. The number of locations will depend on the session or collection booked. It seems all the hot photography spots in Greenville require a shooting fee. This will not be included in your session fee. I will require the deposits for the location before I book them. They are usually around $50.00 for a couple of hours. We can discus this when we meet. Since I have a studio that I can shoot in I only cover this fee when my Diamond collection has been purchased.
{Q:} When should I book my session? Do you require a deposit to book a session? How do I book the location site?
{A:} I book out several months ahead. I recommend booking your session as soon as possible. However, sometimes we get lucky and I have and open session that is sooner than later. The spots go quickly and I do not save your spot without the retainer. Yes, I do require a non-refundable retainer in order to secure a date. This retainer goes towards your purchase of prints. The retainer will be due at the time of booking and will be applied to your session or collection. In the event you need to cancel your session the retainer is non-refundable. I am happy to reschedule but, I will only do this once for none-emergencies and I cannot do this the day of our shoot.
{Q:} What time of the day do you shoot? Do you shoot on weekdays or weekends?
{A:} If we shoot outside I love evening light and schedule 2-3 hours prior to sunset. My clients are scheduled to be photographed Thursday - Saturday for portrait sessions. On the occasion we do need to schedule sunrise shoot we would need to start early. I will make Sunday exceptions if you are flying in or driving more than 3 hours for your session. Shooting in my studio can happen most any time. However, I do love morning light in the studio best.
{Q:} All the clients on your website look like models, I’m not a model can I still book a session with you?
{A:} Yes you can! I have zero models in my portfolio. I work with real clients with no modeling experience. I love making my clients look and feel like they just walked off the cover of a magazine. That is my goal for every person in front of my camera.
{Q:} I don't know how to pose? What should I do?
{A:} Do not worry about knowing how to pose. I know how to pose you from your head to your toes. You will be in great hands. I promise. I've got you.
{Q:} I am not photogenic. What should I do?
{A:} It is not your job to be photogenic. You don't know how to pose. This is why you have asked me to photograph you. I promise, I know to pose you and I have you.
{Q:} Can I change outfits? How many outfits do I bring? Will there be help with styling? Do you have a style-closet?
{A:} Yes, you can change outfits. You can bring up to four outfit changes for any session picked. I am here to help you! Once your session is booked we will talk about what looks best on you. This will help you decide on what to wear. Yes, I have a small style-closet. I am more than happy to pull pieces to help complete your looks.
{Q:} Do your sessions include makeup? I don’t wear makeup, do you require it to book a session with you?
{A:} My sessions do not include makeup however I highly recommend it. I try very hard not to over retouch your images. Makeup helps with this. I feel a professional, camera ready, look can be achieved with the proper makeup. If you don’t wear makeup, no worries - you can go with a barely-there look that will be perfect for you. It’s light and sheer and does a great job evening out skin tones and blemishes. Guys can ask for a light makeup if they wish. *** You may be amazing at applying makeup, however camera makeup is different than your everyday look. A full understanding of the right camera-ready products and application is essential for beautiful straight out of camera results. If it comes right down to it and you really do not want makeup it is understood and respected. I can recommend hair and makeup artist or for an additional fee of $75 can have your makeup done in my studio.
{Q:} Do you travel for sessions?
{A:} Yes, I will go up to 20 miles. I love to travel and always up for a new destination and new backdrops more than 20 miles a travel fees will be added on top of your session fee. My hope is to add a unique destination to my portfolio once a year.

{Q:} Do you only photograph one person at a time?
{A:}No! However, I love working with one person at a time. It helps me get to know him or her better. In the end we become friends. But, my work is so much more than taking pretty pictures. Two years ago, I decided to specialize in portraiture. I still love other genres of photography and book them throughout the year. I photograph pets, families, children, newborn and boudoir. I offer a beautiful white sheet session. I do not photograph couples boudoir but, would be happy to refer you to a dear friend who does.
